SHARC

Welcome to the South Yorkshire Hospitals Audit and Research Collaboration (SHARC) website.

SHARC represents a collaborative group of anaesthetic and intensive care trainees, working together to promote, improve and facilitate high quality audit, service evaluation, quality improvement and research projects. These may be run locally, regionally, or contribute towards larger national undertakings. We are keen to involve as many of South Yorkshire's trainees as possible in projects, welcoming contributions and suggestions from any interested participants.

Good Clinical Practice

Any trainee wishing to take part in a project coordinated by SHARC should begin by completing the secondary care module of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) produced by the National Institute for Health Research.

Projects are normally facilitated by SHARC, with site leads recognised and data collection delegated between participants. We aim to produce meaningful results that improve clinical care and that can contribute towards publications or presentations. Resources, results and certificates of participation will appear on the downloads tab of this website as projects are completed, allowing trainees to retrieve relevant materials for their ARCP.
