The trust have recently appointed a sustainability lead, and AOS have gathered a ‘green group’ who have started to make good progress into our carbon footprint and ideas for possible improvements. A major area we would like a trainee to take a lead on is waste management.

Project description
Re-audit of ACCSA standard -anaesthetic documentation.
Opportunities for trainee involvement
Support the generation of evidence for our next ACCSA accreditation with a simple re-audit of how well we document our anaesthetics. As this is a re-audit it is an opportunity to complete an audit ‘loop’ and there is an audit ‘recipe’ ready and waiting. A power point of the previous audit can be provided for more information for anyone who would like to learn more.
