PRE-operative Preparation Study

This study aimed to collect data concerning fasting times and appropriate administration/omission of medication for those patients undergoing emergency surgery across South Yorkshire.

A subsequent re-audit was performed following the introduction of posters to inform clinical staff of published recommendations.
